The world is swirling with “stamps of approval,” yet there is nothing quite as solid as saying Martha Stewart is a fan of your skin care.
The lucky recipient: None other than the trusty Mario Badescu line, which, besides having several celebs (plus 80-year-old age-defying Stewart) backing it, also has 50-plus years of long-standing skin-care service.
“I have been a customer of Mario Badescu since the 1960s when Mr. Badescu was still alive and creating his magical products,” Stewart shared in a release. “When Mario died, the business was taken over by his second-in-command Mr. Genesco and I continued to avail myself of all of the wonderful services—facials, massages, waxings, manicures and pedicures.”
And, in true Martha-style, the synergy for the skin-care star and her home was not left out: “I have always stocked my guest rooms, as well as my own bathrooms, with everything Mario,” she adds. “The Cabasso family has elevated and expanded the Mario Badescu brand into new territory. One can now purchase products in department stores, beauty shops, mass-market makeup retailers and even on QVC.”
Besides the skin care, Martha also swears by visits to the Manhattan spa, saying she continues to visit the 52nd Street flagship for all her “special treatments”—one of them being the just-launched “Martha Facial,” which is now available to the public until early September for $130.
Mixing the modalities of Mario Badescu’s deep-cleaning Iconic European Facial, the hydrating-slash-firming Luxurious and Age Defying Gold Treatment and the vitamin-rich Q10 Anti-Wrinkle Collagen Eye Treatment, the popular facial also comes with a long track record of being the only one Stewart herself has received for 40-plus years.
