The 2nd Off-White c/o Church’s capsule selection has arrived.

The 2nd iteration of the genderless capsule selection that includes Church’s Consul Meteor shoe marries the progressive ethos central to the late Virgil Abloh’s “Question Everything” philosophy, with the artisan tradition and stylistic background of Church’s, the British brand established in 1873 that is now owned by Prada.

The capsule remembers yet another legendary design of the British model: The Consul. For this design, the traditional Off-White “Meteor” detailing is the design emphasis, incorporating round holes in the course of the system of the shoe.

The “Meteor Shower” premise, envisioned by Abloh, with its signature round cutouts is reminiscent of both of those Swiss cheese holes and meteor shower craters. The shoe, according to a joint model statement, is reimagined in extra luxurious resources and voluminous shapes.

Made on previous 173, the shoe dates back again to 1945 and owes its title to the English ambassadors and politicians who wore it and before long grew to become a distinctive symbol of the British higher aristocracy of the time.

The Oxford design and style is built of black calfskin that is finely brushed and polished. It functions massive holes in the upper and is concluded with a trademark Off-White hangtag and laces that, in retaining with Off-White’s model, are labeled “shoelaces.” Both of those the men’s and women’s Consul Meteor footwear retail for $1,590 at Off-White’s site and $1,650 at Church’s web site.

The shoe is on sale at Off-White shops and web site, Church’s suppliers and on church-footwear.com, as of Tuesday.
