In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Kristin Cavallari opened up about body confidence and feeling “the best I ever have” with help from her new fitness routine.
“I’ve put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way,” she says, adding that her current size is one she’s comfortable staying in. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have. I’m not trying to lose weight.”
When scrolling through her past photos, she expresses her shock for how thin she used to be. “I didn’t realize it at the time, how thin I was. So I’m happy that I’ve put on weight,” she says.
Building muscle through consistent workouts, Cavallari says if she goes two weeks without working out she feels like all of her muscle goes away. “So it’s about consistency,” she says. Talking about her personal trainer, she adds, “He kicks my ass. He pushes me really hard. He has me actually lifting really heavy weight, the heaviest weight I’ve ever lifted in my entire life…I feel the best I ever have. I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been.”
When she’s not sweating it out with her trainer, she hits the VersaClimber and maintains her healthy lifestyle. “I feel like I’m only doing the things that I really love right now and that feels really good,” the star says. “My work-life balance right now is at a perfect place and I’m really thankful for that.”
